Feb 21-24 - a-boating and a-biking

With some trepidation, we organized to go out in the Hydra Sport with Jenny ... trepidation on everyone's part.  Jenny, however, showed us how smart she is, quickly settling down in the boat and then, on the island, following us into the shallows, prancing in the water as she got used to it.  She didn't go swimming but she did have a good time.  Cassie, of course, only cared about the chuck-it ...

Then, having made that adjustment, Jenny surprised Jim and Sheryl at the dog park yesterday, going into the plastic kiddie pool and lying down in the water.  Ok, major progress.  She's really a great dog.  She learns, she listens - better than most kids :) and certainly better than me !

I went for a bike ride yesterday, bloody hot though it was.  Today I took out the noisy bike and gave it a similar Titusville circuit but of course I could not go on the bike path ... too bad. It was hot and very windy.  The heat radiating off that Haley engine is enough to cook you.  I was only baked.

With yesterday and today in the 80's, we're now ready for a slight cool-down with 70's expected the next few days.  It's been a real temperature see-saw, cooler highs so far this year but warmer lows.

Onward !
