Never mind that, I want to try an X7 ... dream on.
The X5 is now at the dealer for the trailer hitch install and they supplied me with a loaner X6. I don't really like it - less trunk space due to the shape and less visibility out the back, again due to the shape. The cockpit is much the same as our 2015 X5 even though this is a 2019. It does have additional features like lane departure, smart cruise control etc. - stuff that should really be free since it's probably pennies for the electronics. When we bought our 2015, the one that we rejected with the chocolate brown seats had all those features.
Earlier in the day I took Cassie over to the sand bar. The tidal current was running so strong that I was worried that she might not be able to fight her way back, but she's an incredibly strong swimmer. After that I went over to the marina and did some more boat cleaning. I'll chip away at that.
Before taking the X5 to the dealer, we moved Sandy's kayak to the SYC. Hopefully she'll be able to use it now that the weather is warming up.
We went for our usual Wednesday dinner at the SYC and met up with the usual crowd. It's fun.
Onward.
