Cassie got two trips; Jenny only one. It was Jenny's first time to this sandbar and she loved it. Loved running around with a dead fish in her mouth :).
Cassie, of course, paid no attention to anything but the ball. Her eye is always on the ball, obsessively so ! She got in a lot of running and swimming. Jenny did a lot of running too and, with the leash, Jim got her further into the shallows. She's a little nervous once the water touches her chest but perhaps she'll get used to it over time.
What else ? Not much. Early in the day my back was sore from however I slept the night before, dead to the world, catching up. If I sleep on my side, I'm ok. If I sleep on my stomach, my lower back is in trouble. Ugh.
Sandy did shrimp for four, fresh the day before from King's Seafood. There, she's known as "Canada". OceanS Seafood has less selection these days, unfortunately. King's has its own boats and always has fresh shrimp.
Sandy heads south to have lunch with Bev today. It looks like she'll be doing some driving in the wet. It's cooler this a.m. and the temp is supposed to go to 42F overnight. Still, that's better than the -21C that I see at the cottage !
Onward !
