It was an easy drive albeit with busy roads. There was only one real slowdown where highway 60 merges with 17. With one stop just north of Ottawa for a bio-break, we made reasonable time. Leaving around 9:30, we arrived before 5:30, I think ... just under 8 hours.
Sheryl made what's probably my favorite dinner - scalloped potatoes and ham. My Mom would always make that, oh so long ago.
Today we're off to the airport for that short sleep. In some ways I prefer longer flights, if they're going to be overnight. 24 hours from now we'll be on the ground in Paris, looking for our rental car after a couple of hours sleep. Ugh.
Last year we were in and out of Hong Kong twice; wouldn't want to do that now ! They've cancelled flights due to the unrest.
Onward ...
