Sep 3 - Vienna

We wandered, we ate, we hit an art gallery and museum, the typical things to do in a big touristy city.

Our first stop was to purchase the two day Vienna card which might not quite pay for itself but is convenient. The blog that we'd read said that it covered Time Travel Vienna, and it used to, but doesn't. There was a discount of 5 euros. The so-called 5D show was worth it. I think that 1D of 5 was walking. Definitely not ADA compliant !

Next up art in the Albertina. Then a cold drink and snack, then a walk to Kunsthistorische, much more art. Much wandering later, we caught the hop on, which was also included with the card, back to a stop close to our hotel.

Dinner at the Goulash Museum (a restaurant) was underwhelming but ok. Expensive and boring dumplings with my veal goulash; lots of not-so-sauerkraut accompanied Sandy's pork. My caprese salad was very good; Sandy's green salad was just that.

I'm about finished with city touring. We had thought about Salzburg or Stuttgart for tomorrow night but are now thinking about Innsbruck. Mountains will be a change of pace.

Right now, doing laundry. Real life gets in the way of touring :).

Onward !
