I basically finished off that step although I'll re-coat the walking surface as some hairline cracks have shown up. This stuff isn't really designed for filling large gaps and sealing the surface will help stop water & freezing from breaking it up. I've got a few other places around the yard where I'd like to do some surface sealing ... but I need another bag of the stuff. I purchased the last bag but they have some more on the way.
The major project of the day was trimming the spruce trees that are on the downside of the driveway. Ladder inserted among the branches + electric (not battery) reciprocating saw + brute force effort = big pile of spruce branches. Some of those were up to 3" thick and quite heavy. I've got to either move them to the burn pile or the end of the road. Right now they're behind the gravel pile.
That work produced the expected results - hurting hands. Damn arthritis. Damn aging !
Sandy cooked chicken legs and breast in the oven. Why ? Rain ! It held off all day and was waiting to catch me at the grill but I fooled it, thanks to Sandy.
Today ... off to Barrie to drop off Cassie; Oakville for Crowns; Toronto for theatre; overnight at the Sheraton across from City Hall. Tomorrow a.m. we'll hit the St. Lawrence Market before heading back.
Onward ! Southward !
