Jeffrey and gang first; Stef and gang second; David & Vanda last; everyone here for dinner. Jeffrey made it in 9.5 hours from Nazareth PA. He's closer now than Reading.
Sandy had gone into Sudbury shopping and arrived back about 1/2 hour before the PA gang. She quickly made some beds and then started putting away the groceries. Not having quite enough room, coolers outside would suffice. Winter, a mild winter, is good for that.
A couple of rotisserie chickens from Costco did the trick for the 13 of us but of course it was only 10 eating chicken.
There were 13 again on the 28th; that was the homemade lasagna day. Sandy did a meat and a meatless. During the day Kylie got in some skating - we have a miles long and wide skating rink out front. I actually couldn't resist and go out there today - yes, me skating.
Stef made a fire up across from the barn, practicing for some winter camping that she's planning. Most everyone other than Sandy and I were up there. Eventually there were a couple of big booms as Jeffrey set off some fireworks and then held back doing any more until nighttime. They're not quite Epcot, but HUGE and LOUD.
Aaron has to work on Monday so Stef and Aaron headed out this morning to beat the predicted freezing rain.
That's about it. I've done a minor plumbing project, adding a couple of valves so that I can flip the cold water between softened and not; an electrical project setting up the second wifi thermostat; played around with a wifi security camera that works like a champ - all just tinkering. I am happy with the camera and will eventually add a second and perhaps an outdoor.
That's about it. There's a lot of noise but it's all happy noise.
Onward !
