Feb 21 - and now we are 10

Counting Jenny and Cassie, of course.

We'll only be 10 for a short while.  I'll be taking Jeffrey, Sara and Emma to Port Canaveral today for their Disney cruise and picking them up next Saturday.

Jenny is gradually adjusting to having a lot of people around.  She barks but wags her tail when the kids are on the move -- but she's now friends with Emma.  The barking surprised Matthew and Zoe at first; we had some tears, but that should settle down.  Of course when Jenny barks, Cassie joins in ... yikes !

The original plan was the Tiki for dinner but 30mph winds, cool temps and rain killed that.  The Tiki didn't even open.  Sandy picked up pork chops etc. and we survived.

I'm pretty messed up with the time change.  It's not just sleep, it's done a number on my digestive system, or perhaps the change of diet and lack of activity is affecting me.  I slept a bit more last night, from 8pm to 1:30 a.m. and also had a 3 hour snooze yesterday (originally I only wanted 1 hour but I was pretty zonked).  Hopefully I'm on the mend.
