10 was only overnight and we were back to 7. I took Jeffrey, Sara and Emma to Port Canaveral to board their floating suburb with 100,000 people on board. I know, it's only 5,000 but at some point it doesn't make any difference. It looks like a hotel on a barge with big Mickey ears.
I've had the kids - Zoe, Matthew, Cassie and Jenny - over to the sandbar. All four of them loved it. Sheryl came along to help supervise. Sandy got a short break. I had a longer break on the 24th, finally getting out on my bike for a few hours. That felt good. My body is used to endurance exercise.
Sandy and Sheryl have camped out on the driveway while the kids play in the cul-de-sac. It's really a great spot for that. I'll get them out in the boat again today, over to the sandbar.
Our kitchen wine fridge died while Sheryl was here. It's currently in the garage and will go out to the garbage on Thursday. I checked with the garbage people and they have me on the list for the pickup. My only job is to remove the glass door, criss-cross tape the glass on both sides and put it out there by 7am. I guess that they send a separate truck for this kind of thing ... I had no idea but it's routine.
Sandy and Sheryl will be taking the 2 kids to Disney later in the week. I may or may not go.
Onward !
