DAB - Daytona Beach airport; we had to take two cars. Jeffrey and gang drove in one; Sandy and Cassie came with me; Sandy drove the X5 back while I stopped at Publix.
SBR - sandbar ! - this time I gave Sheryl a chance to respond and waited for her and Jenny before heading to the sandbar. The dogs had a good time. Later in the day Sheryl reported that Jenny was bored. Cassie rested out front in the sun; we suspect that she was waiting for Jenny to return. They've been together for almost two months ... separation anxiety ?!
This week will heat up, winds switching and coming from the south. It's time for me to really get some miles under my wheels. Sandy goes under the knife tomorrow (Tuesday) - her first cataract surgery. They do one eye at a time. She seems pretty calm about it but has to be worried. I would be !!
Otherwise not much. Mixed grill for dinner last night - triggerfish and flounder. They only had one small triggerfish, thus the mixed grill. Apparently the rule of thumb is 30% meat from a triggerfish where most are more like 50%.
March looks quiet, so far. We don't know of any visitors; sleepover wise.
April. Visitors planned and perhaps a bike trip for me but that's looking increasingly doubtful. The Japan Okayama ride notified us that it might not take place; decision will be made mid March. I had not booked flights yet. How the rest of the year will pan out remains to be seen. Travel restrictions could impact everything.
Onward !
