Mar 3 - all about the left eye

One at a time and now we understand why !  She basically couldn't see out of the left eye.  She missed her wine glass pouring.

After the first appointment, which does the work, we had time to kill before the 2nd appointment, time enough for lunch, me to browse in Harbor Freight, etc.  At the 2nd appointment, they discovered that she had a scratch, so they added a patch to let that heal - it's basically like a contact lens.  Scratches aren't that uncommon even without surgery and they do heal.  She's go an appointment with our local eye doctor at 9am today to check it out and remove the protective patch.

By the end of the day she could see where I was sitting out of that eye, in spite of the huge floater.  That should gradually dissipate.     It's quite a process.

If she's ok this a.m., I'll get out for a bike ride.  Although the pre-surgery instructions said do not drive, the doctor yesterday qualified that as don't drive if you can't see ... I guess that makes sense !  I'll take her to the 9am just in case there's any issue.

Onward !
