Apr 20 - $1 / Oz

We tried these once before and they're definitely a hit.  6oz fillets from Perrines.  They're actually from the adjoining Amish store / concession that's temporarily closed.  Anything from the grocery store might be a tad less expensive but a) they'd be bigger and b) there would be no waste.  These are trimmed zero fat.

Add some veggies etc. and we eat well again.  Later in the week we'll try take-out, maybe.  Apparently the SYC is about to start providing take-out; they will be publishing the chef's choice today.

What else - it rained.  Not for long but it made up in volume, quite a dump.  A lot of electrical activity too, and noise and a tornado warning.  Dead calm and then wind like crazy but no funnel clouds, thank goodness !  Of course after that I was up on the roof cleaning the gutters.  I'm always doing that after the cows have left the barn.  Then I was cleaning the pipe to the pop-up in the front.  What a bad setup that is.  The corrugated 4" pipe always clogs at the elbow.  Gene gave me a hand and ultimately with two hoses in the far end and plastic blocking the back-flow, it forced the water out the in-door.  The water and a big clog of cedar droppings.

I'd ordered new cycling shoes and they arrived yesterday.  I guess that I'm going to try them today and then there's no return.  I've been wearing my backup Shimano's and they're not quite wide enough at the toe box.  My old ones are still going but won't be for long.  I'll keep them in reserve.  I've never had Sidi shoes before ...

No trimming and not riding on the 20th.  Today, the 21st, I intend to ride.

Onward !
