Not quite though, still much to do. Yesterday it poured rain much of the day. Today and for the next few, it's supposed to be dry. Dry and comfortable. Dry and ... time to stain the house. Yes, it's time. I'm starting with the wall facing the Davies which, along with the wall on the front and back of the bedrooms, gets the most sun. Scaffolding would be great but getting it here, assembling ... seems like a lot of work. I really need the exercise of going up and down the ladder ... right ... but that's what I'll be doing.
The lake has gotten quieter. There may be one last burst of activity up to and including Labour Day although that won't be as much of a change as usual since going back to school will mean different things for different kids this year. Lauren, Kylie and, yes, Stef, will all be virtual. Sara and Jeffrey are facing that same decision and I forget where they've landed.
So I'll be off to Mass in Britt and then it's up the ladder I go. I may do some organizing before heading out, ladder down perhaps. I'd like to get a good chunk of that one wall done today.
Upward ...
