It's been a long time since we sat still for so long. Weather wise, it's been cool and rainy. I took advantage of the breaks to get the closeup tasks completed.
Not really a big deal, probably doable in a solid day's work, the trailer was organized and packed, gazebo wrapped and Christmas-lit, stuff brought inside, chairs put away, etc etc.
In the meantime, Sandy did spring (fall) cleaning. Beds, towels, vacuum, dust ... well, superficial, low level, dusting. There's a big job ahead of me to do the beams.
I did some more work on the shed, fixing some flooring and rewiring the electrical feed to the boathouse and gazebo. They can now be isolated individually driven by breakers in the shed.
Yesterday's departure was complicated somewhat by a planned Hydro One outage from 8-12am. They used every minute. I don't have power in the garage when the generator is running so I ran an extension cord. I briefly ran the old generator but when I went to restart, the recoil was stuck. Oh well, something to look at in the Spring.
I've ordered the new iPhone 12 Pro. This is the first time that I'll be current. What the heck. It will be delivered on Friday before we get home. Speaking of which - that will be Saturday late, if all goes well.
We got away shortly after the power came back on, stopping at Lauren's and Stef's on the way to see Joyce. Takeout Indian cuisine and now we are in a Burlington hotel. Tonight we'll be in Nazareth PA with Jeffrey.
