Nov 9 - no more lemons

In between the raindrops, I used the trimmer to remove buckets of lemmings from the tree. Two large garbage cans were already full of cuttings and lemons.

It's tricky business as the thorns are up to two inches long. Finally I went at it with the trimmer and reciprocating saw ... and only had a stump with the thorny branches piled out front.  I don't know how the waste pickup guys will manage this.

Then I went at the stump, digging around it and using the saw again. The nice thing about these saws is that I can cut in the dirt without ruining the saw.

Now we have a patch of nice soil for Sandy to plant something more manageable. She's thinking hibiscus. Before she does that I need to give the light post a spray paint job.

Today will be Eta windy again with some rainy patches. I should be able to do more stainless screwing.  Riding will likely wait until tomorrow.
