May 13-17 - and we’re almost off

Not quite. We're mostly packed. We're mostly organized. House handover will be sight unseen since Angelika arrives after we depart. Fingers crossed for Cassie's sake. Carole will tend to her at noon and dinner. Angelika will be here sometime in the evening.

Sandy picked up Zoe and Matthew in Melbourne on Wednesday, relieving Susan. I picked up Jeffrey, Sara, Emma and Rachel on Saturday at port canaveral. Sunday was a boating day. Monday they headed to the airport using a car service that Sandy had arranged. It was cheaper than us driving two cars to ferry six people.

Shortly after they left, we went to the local walk-in Covid testing facility and did pcr tests. 20 hours later we had our negative results. That allowed us to complete the SpTH (Spain travel health) app and VeriFLY, for American Airlines. What a pita.

Since then, Sandy has done a bunch of laundry.  I squeezed in a bike ride yesterday, the first since the 1200 and the first on the newly rebuilt Ti True North frame. It does have a different feel than the Litespeed, significantly different.

Today we head to Miami, our departure point.

Onward.
