Mar 23/24 - windy windy

The 23rd, Thursday, was supposed to be the day with Eric working on the backyard.  Rain threatened, so he postponed to Friday.  Winds were hitting 30mph and of course there was that threat of rain, so I didn't go out.

The 24th, Friday, morning sped by with no sign of Eric.  I made my plans to head ot on the bike and we then heard that Eric was going to be here at 1:30.  Really annoyed, I took off my jersey as I had to be here.  About 1:15 we got a call that he wasn't going to make it.  Ok, now I'm agitated ... got dressed and headed out on the bike and was back at 6:30.

In and amongst all that, I was working mostly on RUSA stuff, the new jersey mostly.  Deb is in Taiwan but actually she's more accessible there, albeit in a time zone far far away, like Star Wars.  We chose from all the stuff that Voler was throwing at us and late on Friday issued our new design.  So far feedback is great.  It's time to move forward with that and then start on other items in the "kit" and I'm going to initiate a design project with only me involved to start, for Central Florida Randonneurs.

I've also squeezed in some Granite Anvil work and Randonneurs Ontario in general.  Hmmm ... this is getting to be a full time job !  RUSA Treasurer work is under control, doesn't take much time.

I did download Turbotax and start work on 2016 taxes.  That's going to take a few hours to get to first draft.  I let that sit for a couple of days and then review top to bottom.

Sandy has been housecleaning.  Jim and Sheryl made it to Florence SC late yesterday afternoon.  Michael, Carol and Alister are due today.  Kathy is due on Tuesday.  Yes, we're busy busy busy, but it's fun.

I did some playing with photos.google.com and I'm not very impressed.  I can't even sort the pictures the way that I want them, so far.

Working with Voler, I downloaded a trial of Adobe Illustrator.  Wow.  Didn't make any headway.  Perhaps I need to buy a book and do some reading but by then my 7 day trial period will be over.

Onward !
