I's and T's -- Irrigation and Taxes.
We had a couple of spots in the back that weren't getting enough water, so I added a pop-up sprinkler right by our bedroom window and bubblers for two of the hibiscus transplants. I probably need to do a little more beside the garage, with the new azaleas that were planted but that will wait for another day.
Everyone gave us (Deb and me) good feedback on the new jersey design, so we'll move forward asap with Voler on those. My fellow board members were pleased with the quick results; I had to contain my frustration at the delays. I'm a DIY guy and waiting for a designer to come back with another iteration is difficult. I downloaded a trial copy of Adobe Illustrator but quickly realized that I'd have to invest major time to be able to use it.
I should have gone to the sandbar with Cassie but wanted to get phase 1 done with our taxes. It never takes very long once I actually sit down and do the work; a couple of hours. I'll now let it sit for a couple of days before doing an end-to-end review.
Alister, Carol and Michael arrived around 4:30, give or take. Soon afterwards we got a little rain or rather fog-like drizzle that then cleared and we were able to sit outside. Tuna was on the menu along with Sandy's wonderful key lime pie. Now I have, yet again, a container full of egg white in the fridge. This morning, Sunday, Brunch is on the menu so I probably won't get to the egg whites.
... and another day was done.
