Apr 25/26 - mostly biking

At least it seems that way.  Arlene and Daniel headed off to the airport mid day on Tuesday, with Kathy packed in like a sardine.  Her rental was a hybrid and the batteries take a chunk of the trunk space, making things more difficult.

Within about 15 minutes, I was on the road myself in my two-wheeled, self propelled vehicle.  The wind was from the south, and looks like it will be that way for some time to come.  It was more WSW however, so there wasn't as much of a boost on the return flight ;).

Sandy and Patti Himes went out for dinner and to see a Harlem dance group at the Peabody in Daytona Beach.   It was ladies night out.  The other lady - Cassie - stayed home with me.

That same wind carried over into Wednesday and I rode again.  I was back earlier due to the earlier departure and we ate at the SYC with the usual Wednesday gang.  They had some major new menu items and Sandy had the brie/pear etc. salad.  She was still full from dinner the night before.  I had the fish of the day, Sea Bass, which was wonderful.  I'd intended to have a salad but opted for the fish.

It seems like we're in wind-down mode but we do have a couple plus weeks left.  Our "hard stop", if you will, is getting up north for Lauren's dance recital either May 19 or 20 (Victoria Day Weekend).  I'm not sure which day we're going.  That will be a down and back affair from the cottage, so that probably means leaving here about the 15th - Monday.

Onward !
