Finally, finally. We were able to launch the new RUSA jersey. I've been working on this for a couple of months. It's a slow process as each iteration takes days, working with a vendor. Had I been able to use Adobe Illustrator, we probably could have cut some of the time. If I'd had a dedicated designer, even more. Regardless, it's out there now on Facebook and the RUSA website and it's been well received. I should find out next week what we are seeing with initial orders.
There's been so much fighting over the logo last year and this that I wasn't sure that I'd get buy-in on a design with the logo so boldly displayed. The stars and stripes say USA without being too "flaggy".
So that was the good news. The bad news is that the tilt is sticking on the skiff motor again. Dang. I forget what I did last year to get it freed up. I was sure that it was simply a matter of grease and up and down then repeat, but it's getting worse, not better. I've got to turn the boat around in the sling so that I can work on the stern.
It's hot here now, should be 90F today, great for my ride ! Up north it's 50F at best and mostly rain. I'll deal with 90 ...
Onward !
