I rode south; had a good ride. The east wind was never favorable but wasn't a killer either. The temperature was around 90F ... I guess that it won't be that hot up north !
Marda and Sandy had left around 9:15; Marda heading home. Sandy heard from her later that she was safely home. She has the move to Vermont ahead of her; lots of organizing ! I likely won't see her again until the Fall but Sandy will see her in June.
We ate at the club, our usual Wednesday thing. Knowing that I had a conference call later that evening, I didn't have anything to drink at home but did have a glass with dinner. We stood around for a bit afterwards talking to Gerry and Barb and then walked to the car. Well, walked is a figurative way of describing what I was doing.
I couldn't walk a straight line. Worse than that, I was almost walking sideways or at least at 45 degrees to my intended direction. That gradually went away but I'm still a bit off this morning. Sandy figures that it's the new glasses that I picked up yesterday. I certainly hope so ! I was ultra careful heading upstairs to the loft for my conference call and mostly managed to walk up the middle of each tread.
It was a long call. Starting at 8pm, we wrapped up close to 11pm. Ugh. I'd already turned into a pumpkin.
Today ... plans not firm yet. I was going to go for a bike ride but this balance thing has me a bit tentative.
Onward ... or sideward ...
