May 21 - a day of rain

It seldom happens in Florida that we have a full day of rain but here in the great white north, that's not the case.  Rain, rain, rain, light at times and heavy at others but never Florida-heavy.

I went to Britt for Mass and was out with the barbecue at dinner for steak and asparagus, not much else.  We did stop next door and visit for an hour; everyone but Mike being in.  I don't think that David and Vanda ever went out.

I kept a fire going all day which kept the place cozy, 75ish.  It dropped down a couple of degrees overnight inside and it's about 52 outside right now.

It's time to get back on the bike.  I'll setup the trainer downstairs and hopefully get outside during the week.  I've got a 200k/300k scheduled next weekend and before I know it, will be heading to Rome.  Yikes.

That's about it ... oh ... the mosquito catcher wasn't running this morning and mosquitoes abound.  It may be that the power supply didn't like all that rain but it's a sealed unit.  I will check that out.

Onward !
