March 29 -- last boat ride

I rode just to stretch my legs this morning -- 11 miles -- then we got ready to go out in the boat.

We launched at the north causeway again and stopped at one of the sand bars, put down anchors and let Abby romp. She got a good swim and lots of running. We then continued north to just south of US 92. It was beautiful and warm. On the way by Ponce Inlet we headed out to the ocean but did not get very far (not unexpected) -- the waves were huge due to the continued easterly wind. As usual we saw a few dolphins, nothing really else new -- just a beautiful day out in the boat.

Once home I did the usual rinse job and started to get the boat ready to go north. I changed the oil in the bottom end -- it was nice and clean.

Next chore on my list was to clean the evestroughs (gutters) and install the screens. Now that is off my list.

Sandy has gone for a walk on the beach -- Abby and I are watching CBC news.

Two more days ...
