Nov 3/4 - nothing to report

Nope. We have not seen any deer of either gender. It was pretty quiet yesterday and we were in the middle of a cloud all day -- misty & foggy. Today was quite different -- sunny and temps up to 18C / 64F which is positively toasty for this time of year.

There are other hunters out there and we heard some shooting today, but have not seen anything taken out of our end of Osprey Road.

We went fishing late today and have the same results except that at one point I had what was probably a pickerel on the line, based on how it was biting and pulling the rod ... but nothing in the boat and nothing in the fridge !

Prior to fishing Alex and I put one of the tarp sections (of two) on the gazebo. We might get a chance to finish that tomorrow, we'll see how the day goes.

As I write this I'm watching the election results come in. Unfortunately we were unable to vote -- we registered but the voter registration cards were not sent out until late in October and there was not enough time to get advance ballots since they had to be received and returned by election day. That is annoying.

We've also been playing a lot of pool. I'm not getting any better. Sigh.

Sandy went into Sudbury and did a little shopping and took Abby to the vet for a checkup. She passed with flying colours.

I cannot think of anything else.
