Did the cars even move yesterday ? Ah yes, Geri took the Range Rover up to their coach. Otherwise, it was pretty quiet. We enjoyed the partly cloudy weather, utilizing both the Muskoka chairs by the waterside and the gazebo. The day zipped by.
The morning was mostly taken up, for George and me, with changing the springs on the Bayliner boat trailer. I had purchased the parts along with the parts for the new axle for the boathouse carriage, from a place called trailerpartssuperstore.com (I think that's it). The work went well, although George will likely still remember that we did it without power tools. He would have had me bring up the compressor and use the air impact wrench that he carries ... however ... rusted bolts notwithstanding, it all went well.
Before anyone snoozed off, George and I went over to kibbitz with Jason regarding his carpentry work at the top of the stairs. We then went up to the coach and George gave Lorraine's Mom and Dad a quick tour.
We had the salmon pie for dinner with some leftover turkey for those so inclined. Green beans, white and wild rice, croissants courtesy Geri and salad completed the picture. As usual, we didn't starve.
Today's plan is to do some boating in the area; tomorrow's plan is to take the 30,000 islands cruise out of Parry Sound. All of this is weather permitting, but it's beautiful and sunny right now. Tonight's plan for dinner is to eat at the lodge (where we had Jeffrey & Sara's wedding). Tomorrow ... who knows.
David and Kim might be coming up tonight or perhaps tomorrow morning or perhaps Friday morning ... it's all pretty fluid due a financial transaction on which they are working ... more on that once it's complete.
... and that's about it ...
Onward !
