Nov 30 - another one down

11/30/11. Yes, 11/11 is over. Rats, I liked having two 11's in my dates. Next year I'll be able to go for two 12's, for a little while, and will then be done for my lifetime !

I did some filing yesterday, actually I didn't do any filing rather I went through piles of current paper that had accumulated beside my desk and put some in the trash and some through the shredder. I also did some peel and stick -- license plate stickers -- two cars, the Harley and the little Whaler. I still have stickers for the other car, the other boat and three trailers. I pay a lot of money to Florida for licenses !

What else -- oh yes -- late in the day I made a trip over to the paint store, which is within walking distance, and did some more deck work, finishing off the side deck as well as the dock. I still have the two upper decks to do, which are by far in the best shape and therefore won't soak up much stain.

I also went to the gym first thing, not riding the Harley, too chilly. It's even colder this a.m., 41F is what I saw on the thermometer and 45F is what the internet is telling me. It's supposed to get warmer over the next few days, which should be good for Marda's visit as well as my planned 200k on Saturday.

Sandy did some organizing upstairs so that Marda would have a bed to sleep on. It had been pulled apart so that the mirrors could be removed. She'll have a polka dot wall because Tim Troy, the plasterer, won't be coming until the day that she leaves.

I sorted through old cans of paint, since I had a half-dozen of those. Three were empty which leaves three to go to the hazardous waste disposal site about 15 miles away to which I've never been.

Biking ? Yes, probably today. Christie ? Yes, today also. Too cold for the Harley, I'll drive. Vacuum ? Yes, time to pass that device upstairs.
