Jan 28 - the squeeze is on

The big squeeze is on here in the den/loft.  I laid the 1.5 boxes of flooring that I had leftover and picked up another eight boxes late in the day.  It's a big room, more than 9'x22'.

I can lay another 2-3 boxes before I'm faced with moving furniture around.  The couch and the desk are the big problems, both because they're so deep.  I won't be able to nail up to them before the nailer starts to run out of elbow room, nor can I easily move them out of the way.  I'll figure something out.

I got over to see my doctor re the shoulder.  She's given me a prescription for physiotherapy.  It's a constant reminder/annoyance/impediment and of course slinging boxes of flooring "probably" doesn't help.  She gave me three options -- steroid shot (watch out Lance !), cortisone shot or physio ... and I chose physio.  I can work around the issue but ultimately that will limit my range of movement if I don't do something about it.

I made Easter Bread, so Joyce had her first taste.  She leaves today, Tuesday.  She wasn't able to change her flights.

We had tuna (great !) for dinner along with oven-roasted brussels sprouts and rice.  It's a simple but excellent meal.

It's supposed to hit 81F today; 83F tomorrow; then a "cold" spell where we're in the 60's.  I can take it.

Onward !
