Feb 18 - some progress

I had to happen eventually ... the table saw and miter saw were pressed into service.

There's not much to show for it though.  I did the doorway between the loft and bedroom wing.  I also prepped the two sliders, removing excess moisture barrier and picking up and applying some caulk that I bought at Ace Hardware.  Boy, I don't think that store is going to last much longer.  Its shelves are not being restocked.

It seems like I did more, but I didn't.

I had my second physio session ... that was disappointing.  Basically he reviewed the exercises that I was doing and gave me some more.  No pushing or prodding this time; I was out of there in about 20 minutes.  For the money, this seems more like a self-help exercise ... so be it.

I fussed about on the PC, as usual.  I took Abby for a walk, as usual.

The day had a cold start.  Today it's about 20 degrees warmer, so no more fires.  I've got John at 8am and later will go riding.  I've added some metatarsal pads to the footbeds of my new cycling sandals, so that will be interesting.  I'm hoping to wear them at this weekend's 300k out of Clermont.

We had pork chops and potatoes on the grill; green beans on the stove and then I had my Randonneurs Ontario call from 8-9pm.

The day was done.  Another begins.  Onward.
