Feb 27 - on the road again

and again and again !

Jeff came over first thing and we talked about replacing the carpet on the stairs and discussed options re tiling the main floor living area.  Sandy's keen on doing the kitchen but we haven't decided on what to do about the stairs yet (or received any firm quotes) so that is pending.  Nor, for that matter, do we know exactly what will happen with the kitchen ... we'll get Vic over soon.

Then I went for a ride.  It was pleasant and cool with a moderate WNW wind, long sleeved jersey weather.  Leaving just before noon, I was back around 5pm.

Afterwards, Abby got her walk; we watched some Law and Order and had flounder, sweet potatoes and beans for dinner. 

Another day was done.

While I was riding, Sandy went over to Coronado Carpet (Jeff) and looked at tiles.  I think that if she keeps looking long enough she'll settle on a tile size that will mean one huge tile to cover the entire floor -- yes, they're getting bigger and bigger.
