Feb 15 - rambling

The day started out rather cool and cloudy but ended up warm(er) and sunny, especially if you were out of the breeze.

Out of the breeze we were as we rambled along Flagler, Sandy and Lo visiting many of the clothing stores.  I went into a couple of non-clothing stores, souvenir shops.  Jason and Kim did the same.  We pointed out Alex's brick by Angels by the Sea.  That made my head hurt.

Earlier in the day Lo went for a run; Jason and Kim went for a workout; I went to Home Depot.

We capped the day with dinner at the SYC, courtesy of the Davies.  Sandy, Lo and Jason had the stuffed flounder; Kim had the shrimp creole; I had the eggplant ragout with butternut squash soup.  I can honestly say that there was nothing on the menu that I wouldn't have enjoyed ... that's one of the nice things about the club.  The other nice thing is that it is soooooo convenient !  Chantalle served us -- she's from Quebec, so it was an all Canuck crowd !

After dinner we walked over to the Tiki to say "hi".  Rose had already left but Noorianne (sp?) was there along with a few people at the bar.  Although Jason & Lo have eaten at the Tiki, Kim had never been there.

So ... another day was done / finished / complete.  As usual I'd stick-handled several emails from cycling club members / Granite Anvil potential riders.  Not-as-usual I'd done some work on the accounting, reviewing the GA budget as well as allocating expenses against the annual operating budget.  I've got some more work to do on a couple of things before our conference call / meeting on Monday.

Today our guests depart for Orlando and their Disney vacation.  They may or may not leave before I head out on my bike to work off some of this good food over the past few days.

Onward ...
