April 17 - a long beautiful day

I was out of the house shortly after 5am, doing my ride to Flagler Beach and back.  I made good time, home before 10am.  We called the Marina to have the boat put into the water for 11am.

Mary and John got to see the boat launched and (de-launched) ?  That would be "landed ?".  Anyway, the fellow was just about to put our boat into the water and that only took a couple of minutes.  We did our usual putt-putt out to the ocean.  The tide was high and the water was rolling, too much to make for any traveling out there but not so much that it was rough getting out the inlet.

We parked at the island, as usual; I got the rear anchor rope caught in the prop, not-as-usual !  That took a few minutes to untangle but nothing was hurt.  We all went for a walk; Mary had no trouble getting out of the boat.

All aboard ... off to Inlet Harbor for a great lunch.    Putt-putt-putt, back home and a snacking dinner.

I had a Granite Anvil conference call at 8pm, watched a little TV afterwards and had another snack.

The day was done !

Today -- off to Epcot.  We'll be leaving around 10am, not in a rush since we don't want to exhaust our visitors before the evening fireworks !

Onward ...
