That's actually quite unusual for here; people were talking about it, according to Sandy. Not only that, but it was mostly drizzle -- more like the weather that we get up north this time of year ... getting prepped, perhaps ?
According to the internet, it was beautiful up north. In fact, it was over 70F (yes, I know that would be in Celsius) there and only a few degrees warmer here.
Yesterday would have been a biking day but I've had enough riding in the rain. Perhaps today, but that too will depend on the weather. I've got John today; he couldn't make yesterday.
I did some more computering, moving an internal hard drive over from the "old pc" to the new. For now I'll be keeping that old PC, which is completely functional, as a backup. I've got another PC lying around here but I don't even remember what state it's in. This is work that I intended to do, good stuff for a rainy day.
Vic is coming this morning to do some final measurements for the kitchen. I'm awaiting parts before I start any of the work on the X5. I did talk to Debbie in Bala Cynwyd yesterday and if the car is still going strong, will drop in to see her when we're in the area in June.
What else ? Not much really. I did a ham for dinner which now gives me lunch meat. Asparagus also hit the grill and Sandy roasted potato wedges in the oven. I suppose those could have gone on the grill too ...
I heard from Bonnie that they have now gone up to their cottage, presumably for the summer, from Parry Sound. It will be good to see them the week after next. Yes, it's that close.
Onward !
