Sep 3 - ready to roll

... or so it seems.

The cars are packed and the last beer/wine of the summer shared with Jas, Lo and Kim.  We'll be leaving as soon as a) Sandy gets up and gets ready and b) I do all the last minute things that always take at least an hour.

I:
-- changed the oil in the X5,
-- went into town for the mail,
-- pulled the docks in as far as they would go,
-- took the camera cards to Jim & Bonnie's, saw Art there in the driveway,
-- organized things in the garage and barn,
-- packed and packed and packed ...

The yellow bike is in Sandy's car; I may go for a bike ride when I come up for the RO Annual General Meeting (AGM).  That will depend entirely on the predicted weather.  I'll be a wimp for that one.  I moved the Frog pedals from the Litespeed to the yellow bike, would need those for my cycling shoes.  I've got another pair on the Lynskey, so I'll be ok on that front.  I also changed cassettes on that bike, from an 11/23 to a 12/27.  It's got a standard crankset 53/39, so any hills could kill me with only a 23.

The yellow bike will come down to Florida, will probably come back north at Christmas or in the Spring.  I intend to migrate some 10 speed parts to that bike and ultimately build a new rando bike, sell the frame/fork of the Lynskey.  I've also got some unused wheels to sell ... busy busy.

Today ... drop Sandy's car at Buffalo airport and head for Beckley WV.  Undoubtedly it will be late when we get there.

Onward ?  hope so !
