Nov 1 - no kitchen !!

Vic's guys hadn't shown up by 10:30 so I called him, and they were still painting.  We were quite disappointed  -- me, more because we'd postponed boating to be here and Sandy, more because she wants cabinet doors.  We managed anyway.

We went for a drive on the beach to the jetty and Abby had a romp in the water.  Back home, Jason et al went back out and went swimming with the boogie boards. 

We went to Peter's Wine Bar for dinner, having a bottle of wine and ordering from the restaurant.  It's a neat setup, change of pace.  I had fish and chips which were good, but way, way too salty.  I think that if we go there again I'll probably try a steak or burger from next door, keep it simple. 

Otherwise, not much.  I did get all the labels done to mail the jerseys and caps.  They're sitting beside me awaiting sticking to the envelopes and taking to the post office.  That took some time because most of them are Ontario-bound.  I'll do envelopes for the CanAm medals as well.

What else ... that's about it.  The good weather continues but there's a line of thunderstorms heading for us that will likely stop us from boating today.  Too bad.  We'll make alternate plans.

Oh yes, Stef sent a picture of Lauren ... center, with her two friends :).
