Oct 31 - Kim's got the spooks

Jason, Lo and Kim arrived late afternoon and we gave Kim the job of looking after the little (and big) spooks at the door.  I'd remembered them starting shortly after 5pm but it was close to 7pm before they really got started.  We had upwards of a couple of dozen visitors and Kim took care of them all.

Earlier in the day I had work to do.  I hung the two new fans -- dining room and living room -- and re-wired the bank of six switches at the entrance to the dining room.  We now have proper fan switches with speed control built-in, like we have up north.  The bedrooms still have the old switches and these will be replaced, in time, all in time.

I went to Bert Fish and picked up a copy of my MRI for the Orthopod's appointment on Nov 11 that I just setup.  With the MRI copy was the entire verbiage from the radiologist that I hadn't seen before.  Interesting stuff.  There's more than one tendon with problems, it seems.

After BF, I went to Peter's and picked up a case of wine and then Publix for beer.  We're now stocked up with liquids :).

Sandy, meanwhile, had gone off to pick up dinner and she got tuna ... which was excellent !  Asparagus on the grill and rice completed the picture.

What else did I do other than general cleanup ... drawing a blank !

Here's Megan, Queen of Hearts.   I'm sure that Lauren, Emma and Zoe also went out but don't have pictures yet.  I hear that Megan got wet, since rain blanketed much of Ontario last night.

Onward .. November is upon us ... today we get cabinet drawers and trim !  That will leave the kitchen mostly finished save the granite and my finish plumbing.
