I went over to a local car place and talked to him about work on Sandy's car. This morning Jimmy and I took the car over and left it with him for assessment. I'm assuming that at minimum we need shocks, struts, clutch and front driveshafts. I expect that he'll come up with more. It's the first work, other than the alternator last summer, that this car has ever had with a lot of miles on rough roads.
Jeff came over and made some more progress on the tiling ... he's doing good work but because he's the boss, it's not going as quickly as I'd expected. Oh well, good work is the most important thing !
I went for a bike ride without checking the Doppler. Silly me. I rode in a monsoon for part of the ride but figured, what the heck, once I'm rolling I might as well keep going. The rain jacket sure came in handy yesterday !
Jimmy and Sheryl did some touring south to Cocoa and Cocoa Beach, leaving Sandy-doggie with us. Sandy-wife was gone for part of the time with a dermatologist appointment, so Jeff had the house to himself ... well, with Sandy-doggie and Abby-doggie.
We had Panko Mahi-Mahi for dinner, always good. Sandy's smashed potatoes and sauteed zucchini completed the picture.
Onward ... not sure of today's agenda.
