Feb 26 - rain

Yes, it rained.  I wasn't quick enough getting out in the morning and this mass of rain was heading for us.

Nancy and Ron left around 9am and even by then, the rain was poised to strike.  Had I been out there, I would have put up with it but didn't feel like heading out.

I puttered in the garage, fixing the old air compressor and deciding that the new little Canadian Tire air compressor wasn't worth fixing.  It had only been used a couple of times.   Oh well, it didn't cost much !  It will go into the garbage today.

I also did some bike cleaning and some bike shopping -- some new pedals, cleats, shoes and a couple of other things.

Lucille and Dave arrived late afternoon and we chatted into the evening.  She has certainly done a lot of traveling, lived in many places. He's lived in Champlain NY all his life, just south of the Quebec border at the intersection of I87 and US 11.  We've probably seen his house !

Pork loin was on the menu along with green beans and potato wedgies.

Anything else ?  Nope. 

Today is supposed to be cool and our visitors are here, probably won't get biking today either.  Not to worry though, Jerry will be here shortly and we'll ride every day through next weekend.
