Mar 17 - St. Paddy's

Well, the plan had been to go out for dinner on St. Paddy's but it was pouring rain.  It poured rain most of the night too ...

When I got up in the morning, it was obvious from the Doppler that we were going to get hit later in the day.  However, I hung around to have a call with the franchise lawyer so riding didn't happen. 

I did get a couple of things accomplished, however.  Sandy wanted to do some printing from her ipad and I found some software to facilitate that.  It took some setting up and an enabling piece of software on the PC, but it works well printing to our network printer here and will work for the attached printer up north.  That was $7.99 well spent, cheaper than buying an air-printer.

I also got contacts management sorted out among our several environments.  Getting Outlook on the PC, gmail in the Cloud and the three i-devices to make nice wasn't easy.  iCloud was getting in the way and there were copies everywhere -- on the devices, on gmail and on Outlook.  I finally printed out a list from Outlook, manually checked off the duplicates and/or missing ones to do the reconciliation.  I then tested updates from each of the three environments and new contacts, changes to contacts and deleted contacts do move around.  Don't change anything !!!

Sandy found some chicken breasts in the freezer and scrounged from the fridge for dinner, rather than us going out or her going shopping.  As I said, it was pouring. 

Today ... more work with the lawyer, hopefully early enough that I can then go out for a ride.  Hopefully the rain will blow through in time.

Onward !  Time to go to the gym.
