Wood that is. David and I moved two piles of wood from the rows in front of the woodshed inside, taking the space that Jason had vacated moving some of Halle's wood out. We also moved more hemlock into the garage and passed the balance of roughly two cords of hemlock over to Gavin. We then piled the new maple in the area out front. Gavin scored big here, with hemlock and maple.
David took the 3-wheeler out for a short spin but it was starting to rain so that was short lived. He also went into town and set out the minnow traps. That turned out to be a bust, with three dead minnows in the traps at the end of the day, so I bought some minnows at Gohm's when I went in for Mass.
My Aunt Ruth was there along with Christine and her gang and Anne. I hadn't seen Anne this year. This was the last Mass before Christmas, so I'll be going to Britt from this point forward.
Sandy trimmed lamb ribs and put them in marinade, which we had grilled along with corn and beans. The lamb was good but I still feel full -- we don't eat much red meat these days. Sandy is planning steak for tonight ... I don't know ...
That's about it, I guess. Onward ?
