Catch-up with email, catch-up with sleep, catch-up with eating, catch-up with drinking (make that hydration!).
I made a Home Depot run, picking up a couple of items and then doing some grocery shopping on the way back. Sandy had a session with Jessica and then stayed inside the rest of the day. It was sunny but with a cool breeze.
I did a write-up on the Miami encounter for Paul Rozelle, and myself. It will certainly be a unique experience ... but will anyone be interested in the experience ? Will those who participate think that it was worthwhile afterwards ? I don't know. Sandy and I are talking about going back so that I can do some more reconnoitering and she can do the same of another sort. We also talked about next weekend, since I have a ride that starts at Paul's house. There's a ballet in Sarasota that she'd like to see. Seems like we'll kill a couple of birds with the same stone. Pigeons. I hope that the birds are pigeons.
D-day is coming. I have to set a starting date for Sunshine 1200k registration. Do I defer and make that January 1 or stick with December 1 as I've been thinking. Where's that coin to flip ... ??
I changed the M5 oil and with a little research, found the brake fluid reservoir and checked that and topped it up. Power steering fluid level was ok. In this car that fluid is actually automatic transmission fluid, per the label. I guess that it's simply an oil with a different viscosity. The car is going to be 14 years old soon and this is the first top-up for the brake fluid. Not bad. That reservoir, by the way, is UNDER the drivers-side cabin air filter housing. The housing comes off easily. That is one very crowded engine compartment.
Otherwise, not much. We had steak for dinner with potatoes and sauteed zucchini. Publix had some very nice looking Filet Mignon, an unusual treat, melt-in-your-mouth, a tiny bit more expensive than most of the fish that we eat down here; cheaper than almost anything that we buy in the way of fish or meat up north. Yes, eating in Florida is definitely less expensive than eating in Ontario.
Today ... we'll see. Onward !
