All that drilling means a lot of dust. All those new shelves means some reorganization. Well, that's what I did yesterday. I'm sure that I could putter forever, but that's it for now.
Similarly with the Sunshine 1200k web ... I'm sure that I can putter at that forever. I'm learning a lot of html and I'm constantly tinkering with the wording.
It rained, not a lot but it rained. Late in the afternoon the rain took a break so I worked outside, trimming dead leaves off the bananas. I found a new cluster of fruit with perhaps a dozen bananas on it, this one still on the same plant. We have two different plants, one north and one south. The northern plant has taller stalks and produces larger bananas. So far that's the one producing fruit. The southern plant will take it's turn soon, no doubt.
Tomorrow we head to Key West, having lunch with Hamid on the way. I talked to him yesterday as they drove from Maryland to Florida. They stopped in Jacksonville to see their son Ali for a couple of hours but then planned to continue. They would have arrived back in Boca Raton late last night, if travels went as planned.
I went to the gym this morning. My stomach muscles were still hurting from the initial session last week. I did a few things but the place was busy so I then came home and did some more arm raises here with the 10 lb weights. This getting-back-in-shape was so unnecessary had I simply maintained some level of upper body fitness up north. Well, I take that back -- I don't sit still up north but obviously don't do enough of the right kinds of maneuvers to keep in shape.
I exchanged emails with Bonnie. They are packed and the movers come tomorrow (Tuesday), I think. Jim and Bonnie are actually not the first occupants of that cottage -- That would be Jim's Dad -- but they've been there a long time. I think at this point Bain, Stillar and Sherar are original owners and the rest of the cottages have either moved down a generation or have new owners ? Actually now that I think about it, Dixon and others might be original owners as well. Bonnie will no doubt correct me on this ! In any event, there is one less winter occupant. Ysseldyk, Bain and Stillar name Osprey Road as their permanent residence.
I was originally thinking of doing a 200k today but it's raining. I'll have to do that later in the month.
Onward ?
