Dec 1 - whew

Three million emails later, the ride filled up within 18 hours and I've got a waitlist.

THAT'S what I did yesteday.

I also went to the Oceanside Inn, our Daytona 2nd night stop, and met the sales lady, talked about logistics etc.  We're in good shape there.

This morning I sent emails out to the interested, volunteer and registered riders lists and updated the website.

My fingers are getting a lot of exercise, if nothing else !

Stef's in-laws, John and Cheryl, arrived a little after 11am.  We chatted, had lunch, Sandy left for her appointment at 1pm, we chatted some more and then they headed out to Palm Coast to meet another friend.  Actually John said it's closer to Marineland ... whatever.

They are both interested in visiting the cottage in the winter, much to my surprise.  We may very well make that happen.

That's all that I can think of at this point.  I'm letting the dust settle some more on yesterday S1200k stuff before doing anything else to accommodate waitlisted riders.

I don't know if anyone reading this might be interested in checking out the website -- www.fl1200k.com
There's a lot of info there regarding logistics etc. that might interest some; if you check the Communications link, you'll see my emails to the group in my usual style these days -- semi-tome -- not what George used to call Dave-Mail.

Onward !
