Apr 11 - another day, another ride

I left earlier and got in before the rain, thank goodness.  We had a typical Florida deluge !  I squeezed in a walk for Abby before it came down, listening to thunder all the time.  I closed the upstairs bedroom shutter, just in case.  It was really blowing.

I've been struggling with what to do about a front bag for the new bike.  Most of the load is moving to the front, which is much more stable (and accessible while riding).  I'm sending back one bag and I've ordered another.  A third is on its way from Asia - I've heard that for a few weeks now from that supplier so I'm giving up on that one, even though it would probably be cheaper. 

Now I need to find a rear bag solution, a small solution.  I simply want to keep tools back there and have the option of using a bungee to hold a rain jacket or whatever.  There are some expandable bags that I've seen, kind of roll-up style, but I can't find them in hours of browsing.  I'll email those friends who have them to see if I can track them down.

Otherwise, not much. 

I did my final tax review this morning ... good thing to do before Mass, eh ?  I'll print it out later today and have it ready for the mail.

Sandy is now at Marda's, apparently.
