Apr 7 - out of time !

I went out on the new bike (need to give it a name) for a real ride.  My left knee twinged a bit, probably need to make a saddle adjustment, but I'll check it vs my trusty Litespeed.  Sometimes I just have a twingey day.  It felt quite a bit different, but that's because it wasn't loaded.  I've got to move bag and lights over and the weight will then change the feel.  My new front bag is on the road with Fedex, presumably having a bag on the front vs the back will also change the feel.

It was hot and it sprinkled a little -- have to completely christen the bike, eh ?  I rode south, which is what I've  been doing for the last month, the wind being consistently from that direction.

Back home, Sandy was in and out prepping for her travels.  I had two episodes of Fringe to watch on Netflix ... that's done.  Five seasons over with.  It was an odd show.  I'm not sure why it lasted five seasons :).

I realized that my watch had stopped ... rats ... needs a new battery.  I checked my dive watch, stopped.  I checked the $12 Walmart watch ... stopped.  I'm out of time !

I managed to get the back off the Wally watch and got out my magnifying glass to read the tiny battery, and headed over to CVS.  It doesn't make sense to pay the jeweler $25 to put a battery in a $12 watch.  Isn't the Internet a wonderful thing ?  There were all these batteries and I could bring up an equivalency chart on my cell phone, pick the correct battery (2 for $8), bring it home and voila, that watch is working again.

Going online, I found that I can purchase a watch back removal tool for $10, which I did.  I'll see if this works for the dive watch and, after that, the Tag.  We'll see.  Perhaps this is a do-it-yourselfer.

We had Vermillion Snapper for dinner ... brown rice ... sauteed zucchini.  The day was done.

Onward ... off to the airport with Sandy !

Watches all stopped right now? Apparently, the Universe is telling you to reserve an Apple Watch! :-0
