May 6 - whew, good to get out

I'm living at the pc right now with updates / comments / questions coming fast and furious on Facebook and Email.  Luckily I don't use Twitter !  Oh yes, and texts.  Dratted texts.  Oh yes, and Facebook messenger.  After a while you get to know who will actually respond to which method.  Some respond to nothing !

I threw in the towel and went out for a ride in the afternoon yesterday; took some miles for my legs to get stretched out.  There was a blistering northeast wind and it was a blast coming back.

This morning I spent about 4 hours checking the cue sheet against ridewithgps cues line by line, finding a few issues that Paul will deal with tonight.  We can then issue cue sheet and gps files to the riders.  Let the fun begin !

This a.m. I've been following up with suppliers -- taxis, food etc. to tie all that down.

This was all easier with the Granite Anvil.  First off, there were other people who did some of the work.  Secondly, there was less work, fewer moving parts as it were. 

I'll be so glad when it's all over.
