May 7-9 - I'm really getting behind !

I've been swamped with Sunshine 1200k stuff, obviously ...  That's what took most of my day on the 7th.

On the 8th, Friday, Dick came over and we did my northern 115 k to Flagler Beach and back.  Afterwards I was back at the Ride stuff.

On the 9th, Saturday, Dick and Nuala met us at the Marina and we went boating.  Ok, so I'm not spending all my time working on the ride; it just seems that way.

Then, back home, I spent three hours replacing batteries in 54 SPOT Trace devices ... sheesh ... and binge-watched Haven during that to keep my brain sort-of occupied.  At the end of the ride I'll have to pull those alkaline batteries out of the devices before sending them back, which takes a little less time, but not much.

I now have a stack of partially spent AAA lithiums, like 200 of them.  That represents 200x$1.75 ... a lot of money !  I did some random testing and many are still up at 1.7 volts.  I don't know if I'll ever get through them all.

Today, Mass and then (hear this Jason), brunch at the SYC.  It's their Mother's Day Brunch, so they'll do something special.  Then I've got more ride work -- printing labels, cue sheets, prepping the brevet cards for printing at Staples etc.

Onward !
