Nov 24 - windy windy

... and even more so today at 20 mph and up with the gusts.  It was a day that I definitely didn't need dark glasses; in fact I should have ridden my rando bike and had my headlights on, the sky was so black.

Terminology Update -- the rando bike, in my terminology, is now the True North with fenders etc.  I haven't ridden that since Paris.  I need to get out on it !  The Litespeed has become my day-to-day bike.  I really need to get a new fork for that bike to get the bars up to the same height as the True North.

I'm planning on selling the Lynskey but think that I'll probably do better in the Spring.  People are buying skis now, not bikes, in most of the country.  Also, if that fat-tire bike doesn't get used in this winter, I'll sell that as well.  There's no point in having it hanging from the garage ceiling and not used.

With the Lynskey still in my possession and the fat tire bike hanging from the ceiling, I have too many bikes for the amount of hanging space that I have.  I should figure out something to get a bike up off the floor and out of the way.

Oh my aching back -- not sure why but I was really sore this morning until I got going.  I didn't do anything out of the ordinary yesterday, so I'm not sure why.  I've got the Chiro lady Wendy this morning ... it will be interesting to see if she notices any difference.  I'm not sure what to expect.

Most of the stores around here are closed tomorrow or at least the ones that I might visit, like Publix and Home Depot.  I want to keep going at the dock/deck, so I should pick up some more lumber today.  I did some work yesterday, removing more boards and doubling up stringers.  Once I'm through with the stringers, the deck goes quickly with the 47 3/4" cuts.  I figure that I need about another 20 8' pieces, so I might pick those up today in a couple of loads.

We had shrimp for dinner with its usual accompaniment, i.e. sauteed spinach.  I love that meal.  Sandy does it all :).

Sandy got up yesterday with an ear ache and made an appointment with Keller for a look-see.  She's got some external infection something like swimmers ear and now has drops to apply.  The first prescription was rejected by the insurance company and we weren't going to pay $300 so Keller came up with an alternative.

Onward !
