Oct 30 - some good news among the bad

So far no luck with the Yamaha power tilt. I screwed around with that all day yesterday and it's worse now than when I started.  I've got one more idea and if that doesn't work, I'll be calling Ralph's Mobile Marine.  If I can get it retracted, then at least I can use it at high tide.  Cassie had a really disappointing day seeing me working at the boat all day and going nowhere !

This a.m. I took the M5 to the auto place.  I asked the fellow -- typical cost -- "won't know until I take a look at it" -- do you have to remove the exhaust system -- "won't know until I take a look at it" ... so when Sandy asked me if anything else would have to be done after they finish, my answer was, you guessed it "won't know until they take a look at it".

I've only been home a little while and they called.  Done.  Ready for pickup.  How much did it cost ?  $55.  Wow. Considering what a new exhaust pipe from the engine would have cost, what a deal !!!!

Jessica is coming shortly so we'll have to make that trip to pickup the car later this a.m.  In the meantime, the Yamaha is laughing at me.

... and I'm doing a ton of cleanup work for RUSA.  Grungy stuff like outstanding old orders, bad inventory counts, perfect for my anal-ness.
