Oct 31 - sitting at Tire Kingdom

Things are falling into place:

1) the M5 is back "home"; nicely welded, cheap cheap cheap !
2) just on impulse, I called TK and am now awaiting the new tire install.  Almost finished.
3) I checked the power tilt and found that the motor wasn't running.  Ugh.  However, I then talked to Ralph's Mobile Marine who I've used before and he's coming out tomorrow.  He said that third parties now supply those motors for less than Yamaha, and with better warranties.  Ok, this one is out of my hands.  I've spent enough time at the back of the boat !

The X5 is due at BMW on Monday for airbag replacement and programming that new trunk module.  That would be the end of the X5 work for now ... but I still have to, at some point, deal with the "sweating" power steering hoses on the M5.  That's not a burning platform; it's been like that for a long time.

Halloween ... Sandy wants to go to dinner instead.  Of course some kids start arriving at 5pm so that could be difficult ... perhaps I should zip up to WallyMart anyway.

Onward !
