Mar 11 - on the road thrice

Riding south again; third day riding in a row, I was feeling stronger and completed in a respectable time.  Riding <120k each of three days in a row isn't quite the same as doing 1000k over three days, my original plan, but at least it wasn't vegging out !  Knowing that Monday was likely raining, I squeezed in that one more day.

Back home, cleaned up, we headed over to Sheryl & Jim's rental condo for a glass of wine and dinner.  Sheryl had prepared corned beef & cabbage & carrots & potatoes ... a real treat.  Ok, so I skipped the potatoes, but Sandy made up for me.  I made up for Jim with the cabbage, which doesn't agree with him.

Cassie had come along for the ride and the visit.  She knew where she was and started whining long before we got to the door, trying to shed the gentle leader that Sandy had put on her.  Poor puppy.

Around 9pm we headed home, relaxed a bit and then drove to Orlando Airport to pick up Lauren.  Sandy had been monitoring the flight, which was running a little late.  Parking, hanging out at the airport - Sandy at baggage, me upstairs - Lauren eventually showed up.  Her bag was off shortly and we were on our way.  It was 2am before we were home and in bed.  Ugh.  Perhaps I'll have a snooze sometime today !

I've got a long list for today, starting with tax work for RUSA, insurance work for RUSA, ordering some parts from BMW, booking some flights, all good rainy day activities.  I've also got to get started on my own taxes, but no rush, I've got a month !

Sandy has Disney plans for herself and Lauren - Magic Kingdom on Tuesday and Epcot on Friday.   I'll probably join them at Epcot for dinner.  I also want to hit the Pearl Izumi store at the Outlet Mall, so I may do that on the way (well not really on the way) to Epcot.

Onward !
